MEET THE TEAM

Salon owner Ross is a four-time finalist in the British Hairdressing Awards, including North Eastern Hairdresser of the Year and Men’s Hairdresser of the Year.

Ross is highly popular with our clients, cutting hair in the salon as well as art directing his team, and producing at least two hairdressing collections a year.

He’s also a platform hair artist on stage, teaching his skills to other industry professionals at major events and shows.

Originally from Rome in Italy, Alessandra is salon co-owner and colour specialist. She has completed the prestigious Colour Specialist course with L'Oréal, and has been a finalist several times in the L'Oréal Colour Trophy Awards.

Alessandra has a busy client list, and she also teaches and directs the salon team in new techniques and colour collections.

Her client colour consultations are in-depth, and she comes highly recommended by our existing clients for her expertise and attention to detail.

Lara’s work is stunning. She started as a stylist five years ago, and has now built up a strong clientele with a mixture of cutting and colouring.

As a Senior Stylist, with a passion for all things hair, she produces great salon hairdressing and also performs her work on stage at Salon International in London and HJ Live. Lara is also in the Art team for our British Hairdressing Awards.

Lara is a highly proficient razor cutter. She’s been trained to a high level using a Chop Stick Pro Razor for all hair types, meaning she can work both with classic styles and more daring looks.

Kennedy produces fantastic salon work. Her eye for detail gives very accurate precision cuts, and her colouring skills are amazing, particularly her balayage highlights and toners.

She joined our team five years ago, and has since done several photo shoots including for Yorkshire Post, L'Oréal Colour Trophy shoots and being part of the Art team for The British Hairdressing Awards. Kennedy is a certified razor cutter, using the Chop Stick Pro and Donald Scott Carving Comb.

She also enjoys getting involved with our charity work for cancer charities and the Little Princess Trust

Ashleigh is a stylist here at York. With excellent skills, she’s already working towards an advanced level.

Great at Event / Party hair updo’s, cutting, treatments and colour work.

Ashleigh enjoys getting involved at our hairdressing stage shows in London, as well as our photo shoots.

 Katie is currently working through her NVQ2 in Hairdressing. With excellent skills, she’s already a rising star. She looks after the team at the salon by assisting others and she also performs basic colour work and treatments.

Katie enjoys getting involved with our photo shoots. and has a passion for anything curly hair and cutting.

Our receptionist is the hub of the salon in York. She knows our appointment system better than anyone and is always on hand to help you out. She’ll do her best to find you a slot, and is happy to guide you through our menu. Any queries or questions about the salon? She’s your girl.
